Equipment Condition:
ROWPU shutdown.
Generator secured.
High pressure pump assembly removed (para. 2-67).
Motor cables removed (para. 4-84,
TM 10-4610-232-12).
Motor sheave removed (para. 4-84,
TM 10-4610-232-12).
a. Refer to Figure 3-5 and remove three capscrews (1), Iockwashers (2) and washers (3) and remove cover (4).
b. Remove snap ring (5) and fan (6).
c. Remove grease tube (7), if necessary. Do not disassemble tube further.
d. Remove bearing cover (9) by removing four capscrews (8).
NOTE
Bearing outer race is pressed into end shield.
