If machine is being transported by rail (CONUS), machine needs no further preparation. Proceed to Load Machine Onto
Flatcar on page 0020 00-14.

OCONUS ONLY: Place transmission in N (Neutral) and lock, apply parking brake, lower tank to the ground, and shut
down engine. Block tractor and water distributor wheels.
5.
OCONUS ONLY: Remove two nuts and windshield wiper arm assembly from windshield. Set wiper arm assembly
aside for stowage in ISU-60 container. Reinstall nuts on drive and pivot shafts.

OCONUS ONLY: Cut tiedown strap and disconnect two electrical connectors at wiper motor inside cab. Discard
tiedown strap.
