Removal.
(1)
Remove two capscrews (7, fig. 4-67) and lockwashers (6) from bracket (1) and block (5).
(2)
Lift straight up on the assembly to remove it from the sludge concentrator tank (2).
(3) Remove block (5) and pipe nipple (4) as a unit by unscrewing pipe from welded coupling half (3).

Disassembly.
(1)
Loosen jamnut (13, fig. 4-68) and remove orifice plug (14) and jamnut (13) from rod (4).

Lift up on rod (4) and turn so pins (8, fig. 4-67) will go through slot in bracket (1). Remove from bracket.
(3)
Drive pins (2 and 3, fig. 4-68) from rod (4) and unscrew handwheel (1) from rod.
(4)
Loosen the jamnut (7) and remove orifice plug (9) and nut (8) from rod (6).
(5)
Remove rod (6) from bracket (12), then drive pin (2) from handwheel (5) and unscrew hand wheel and
jamnut (7) from rod (6).
