Removal.
(1)
Loosen screws in tubing clamp and slide tubing from connector; then slide tubing clamp off tubing.
(2)
Remove tubing holddown clamps and lift tubing from equipment.
NOTE
Save undamaged clamps for the installation of new tubing.

Replace. Replace defective tubing.
d,
Installation.
(1)
If new tubing is required, cut it to the required length making sure the walls are cut square.
(2)
Blow through tubing to be sure opening is clear.
(3)
Slide tubing clamps on tubing then slide tubing on connectors and secure it with the tubing clamps.
4-87. LIMESTONE SLURRY EJECTOR.
a.
General. The slurry ejector (6, fig. 4-65) is located on the side of the chemical slurry feeder tank (10). It ejects
limestone slurry from the slurry feeder tank into the erdlator tank. The amount of limestone slurry ejected is controlled by
the setting of the hand controlled variator (7).
b.
Removal.
(1)
Disconnect limestone slurry discharge plastic tubing line (9, fig. 4-65) from hose adapter (8).
(2)
Disconnect copper tubing flare nut (1) from connector (5).
(3)
Turn slurry ejector (6) counterclockwise until it is loosened from slurry feeder tank (10).
c.
Disassembly.
(1)
Unscrew adapter (1, fig. 4-66) and pipe bushing (2) from cross pipe (3).
(2)
Unscrew pipe plug (4) and nipple (9) from cross pipe (3).
(3)
Unscrew pipe adapter (7) from cross pipe (3) and bushing (6) from adapter (7).
