Install valve (3) on nipple (4) and nipple (2) in valve.

Connect coupling (1) on pipe (2), tightening the nut only slightly.

Position piping as an assembly to the half union on pipe (4, fig. 4-69) with coupling (2) over extension pipe
of the weir box (1).
(5)
Connect union (3) and tighten coupling (2).
