Remove two nuts, starwashers, and bracket. Pull oil gage through front of panel.

Install oil gage and bracket. Install two starwashers and nuts.

Install elbow on gage.

Install oil line.

Install lower rear cover. Install bolt, flatwasher, and nut. Install two lockwashers, screws, and nuts.

Connect battery (para 2-16).

Temperature Gage Replacement
1
Remove nut, bolt, and flatwasher. Remove two screws, nuts, and lockwashers. Remove lower rear cover.

Remove bolt from clip securing temperature sensor line.
3
Remove temperature sensor line from adapter on cylinder block. Install bolt in engine.
4
Remove temperature gage retainer.
5
Pull temperature gage with line through front of panel.
6
Install temperature gage with line. Press on retainer.
7
Install temperature sensor line in adapter on cylinder block.
