Installation INITIAL SETUP: Use With Supplies High Pressure Pump Assembly Rags, item 29, appendix C Tools General Mechanic's Automotive Tool Kit, item 10, appendix B Common No. 1 Organizational Maintenance Automotive Maintenance and Repair Shop Equipment, item 11, appendix B a. Removal 1 Remove two mounting bolts. 2 Screw in two headless 5/8"-18 NF guide bolts. 3 Remove four remaining mounting bolts. 4 Remove pulley, vibration damper, and adapter. Remove guide bolts. b. Installation 1 Make sure contact surfaces of crankshaft, adapter, vibration damper, and pulley are clean. 2 Screw in two headless 5/8 in. -18NF guide screws. 3 Install adapter, vibration damper, and pulley. 4 Install in four mounting bolts. Remove guide bolts. 5 Install two remaining mounting bolts. 3-189
