TM 10-4610-229-24 3-70. FLYWHEEL REPLACEMENT (CONT) a. Removal 1 Connect suitable lifting device to flywheel. 2 Remove 12 flywheel mounting bolts. Remove flywheel. 3 Place flywheel on flat surface. Remove lifting device. 4 Inspect flywheel for damage. Replace as required. b. Installation 1 Connect suitable lifting device to flywheel. 2 Install flywheel on engine. 3 Install 12 flywheel mounting bolts. Torque to 180-220 ft lb. 4 Remove lifting device from flywheel. 5 Install power takeoff (para 3-69). 3-184
