WARNING
Make sure electrical power is disconnected before working on unit. Failure to do
so could result in serious injury or death from electrical shock.
NOTE
Tag all wires before disconnecting.
INSPECTION.
a.
Refer to Figure 2-30, unlatch door latches and open lower exterior panel door.
b.
Visually check components for signs of scorching.
c.
Check for loose or damaged wires.
DISASSEMBLY.
a.
Refer to Figure 2-30 and disassemble the main circuit breaker handle assembly as follows:
(1)
Unlatch and open the lower exterior door.
(2)
Remove four screws (1), lockwashers (2) and retainer (3). Handle (4) is now free.
(3)
Remove two screws (5) and bracket (6).
(4)
(Model WTA-060 only) Remove two screws (7), lockwashers (8), nuts (9) and remove lockplate (10).
(4.1)
(Model ROWPU-1 only) Drill out two rivets (7A) and remove lockplate (10).
(5)
Remove three screws (11), nuts (12) and lockwashers (13) and remove gasket (14) and mounting plate
(15).
b.
Disassemble the two hourmeters as follows:
(1)
Unlatch and open the lower exterior door.
(2)
Tag and disconnect all electrical wires to hourmeter (19). Refer to para. 2-21.
(3)
Remove four screws (16), nuts (17) and lockwashers (18).
(4)
Remove hourmeters (19). Gasket (20) will now be free.
c.
Disassemble the electrical power outlet (28) as follows:
(1)
Unlatch and open the lower exterior door.
(2)
Tag and disconnect all electrical wires to outlet socket (28). Refer to para. 2-21.
