Observe specific Warning in the text.
WARNING
Make sure electrical power is disconnected before working on unit. Failure to do so
could result in serious injury or death from electrical shock.
NOTE
Upper exterior door panel can not be opened unless you open lower exterior door
panel first. Main circuit breaker must be in off position.
a. Unlatch door latches and open both exterior panel doors.
b. Visually check components for signs of scorching.
c. Check for loose or damaged wires.
DISASSEMBLY.
NOTE
Tag all wires before disconnecting.
NOTE
Removal of all relays is the same. The following procedures are applicable to all.
a. Refer to Figure 2-29 and remove relays (1) as follows:
(1) Unlatch door latches and open both exterior doors.
(2) Disconnect electrical wires from relay to be removed (para. 2-21).
(3) Remove relay (1) by removing two screws (2) and washers (3).
b. Refer to Figure 2-29 and remove timers (4) as follows:
(1) Unlatch door latches and open both exterior doors.
(2) Tag and disconnect electrical wires from the timer (para. 2-21).
(3) Remove timer (4) by removing screws (2) and washers (3).
