GENERAL
This work package contains the instructions for servicing the Model L48EE diesel engine cylinder head used on
the high-pressure pump module in the Lightweight Water Purifier (LWP). See WP 0037 00 for Preventive
Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) scheduled intervals for these items.
CYLINDER HEAD REMOVAL
1. Remove valve cover (15), gasket (14) and three bolts (16).
2. Remove rocker arm assembly and cylinder head. See WP 0120 00
3. Store the wear caps (1).
