DISCHARGE USING AUXILIARY HOSE AND REEL - CONTINUED
b.
When water is fully drained from hose, close hose reel nozzle valve by pushing handle all the way forward.
15.
Install cap on hose reel nozzle.
16.
Place pump control switch to OFF (suction) position.
CAUTION
Do NOT leave machine after operation without flushing/rinsing tank, if tank amendments were used
during mission. Tank must be clean and dry to ensure effectiveness of subsequent operations. Improper
cleaning will result in accumulation and build-up of amendments in tank. Premature failure or damage
to plumbing or pump may result. Effectiveness of amendments used may also be reduced.
If tank is not properly flushed/rinsed, nozzles that are a part of tank's internal sparging system may
become clogged with amendment residue.
17.
When discharge operation is complete, flush/rinse tank to remove all traces of amendment used.

WARNING
Operation of the 613CWD Water Distributor must comply with applicable regulations of the Code of
Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 40, Protection of Environment, of the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA). Failure to comply with EPA regulations may endanger the lives of personnel operating
or working near the water distributor or may harm the environment. For further information contact the

Liquid discharged from tank during flushing/rinsing operation may be contaminated with varying con-
centrations of amendments. Do NOT discharge this liquid directly onto the ground or into any natural
body of water, unless it has been determined to be environmentally safe. Discharge contaminated fluids
into a water control structure designated for this purpose. Failure to follow this warning may cause con-
tamination of water supply, resulting in injury or death to personnel.
Do NOT handle any substance, without first reading manufacturer's handling precautions as printed on
label. Wear appropriate protective gear, as required by MSDS and safety and medical personnel. Do
NOT smoke, as some compounds may be flammable. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or
death to personnel or damage to equipment.
NEVER drink water contained in water distributor tank. Water contained or dispensed from tank is
NON-POTABLE. Drinking non-potable water could result in injury or death.
Operator of water distributor is NOT authorized to enter tank. Tank interior is a confined space and
therefore hazardous to enter. If tank entry becomes absolutely necessary, contact your local safety office
and obtain a confined space entry permit. Requirements of 29 CFR 1910.145(d)(2)(reference17), as
