Install gasket.

Install ball.

Install ball seat, O-ring, and carrier.

Repeat steps 10 and 12 for other end of ball valve.

Install stem in valve body.

Install O-ring and handle. Install screw.

Install two O-rings on ball valve.

Install two union nuts and end connectors on pretreatment assembly.
CAUTION
To prevent damage to O-rings, be careful when installing ball valves.

Install ball valve. Tighten two union nuts.
Valves V-1, V-2, and V-3 Installation

Install conduit locknut on nipple.

Install nipple on rear of valve.

Install elbow on nipple. Tighten conduit locknut.
Valve V-4 Installation

Install nipple. Install T-pipe and nipple.

Check grooved pipe coupling gasket for damage. Replace if damaged.

Apply thin coat of silicone lubricant to gasket lips and outside of gasket.

Install gasket evenly between nipple and cartridge filter inlet pipe. No portion of gasket should
overhang grooves.

Place coupling halves over gasket. Make sure keys are in grooves on nipple and pipe.

Install two bolts. Place nuts on bolts and hand-tighten.
