Alternator removed.
a. Disassembly

Place alternator in a vise with soft jaws.

Remove three screws. Move regulator aside.
3
Tag and disconnect three wires. Remove regulator.
4
Remove nuts and insulating washers. Remove heat sink.
5
Remove two screws. Remove brush assembly.
