REPAIR.

Repair by replacing faulty upper exterior panel components as determined by visual inspection or troubleshooting.
Replace damaged/loose ring tongue terminals (TM 10-4610-232-12, para. 4-10).
Replace wire markers (TM 10-4610-232-12, para. 4-10).
NOTE
Be sure to varnish ail connections that were removed.
REASSEMBLY.
a. Refer to Figure 2-25, sheet 1 and reassemble indicator lamps as follows:
(1) Place washers (6) on contact block (5) and install contact block (5) on panel.
(2) Secure contact block (5) with Iockwasher (4) and nut (3).
(3) Connect electrical wires to control block (5) as tagged during disassembly.
(4) Install bulb (2) and lens (1).
b. Refer to Figure 2-25, sheet 2 and reassemble seventeen pushbutton switches as follows:

Place spacers (8) on switch (9) and insert switch in hole in panel.
Install Iockwasher (7) and secure with nut (6).
Screw pushbutton (5) into switch (9) and tighten.
Place washers (4) on switch (3) and insert switch (3) in the hole in panel.
Secure the switch with Iockwasher (2) and nut (1).
Connect wires to switch (3) as tagged during disassembly.
c. Refer to Figure 2-26 and reassemble four selector switches as follows:
(1) Place washers (4) on switch (3) and insert switch (3) in the hole in panel.
(2) Secure the switch with Iockwasher (2) and nut on knob (1).
(3) Connect wires to switch (3) as tagged during disassembly.
d. Refer to Figure 2-27 and reassemble three flowmeters as follows:

If necessary, install four pads (5) on flowmeter.
Insert flowmeter (4) through the opening in the control panel from the front of the panel,
Slide brackets (3) over the end of flowmeter (4) until it is tight against panel and secure with screws (2).
CAUTION
Do not overtighten jack screws as bracket may break.
Tighten two jack screws (6).
Connect wires to the terminal board on the rear of flowmeter (4) as tagged during removal.
Reinstall cover (1) by snapping in place.
