PRESSURIZED WATER SOURCE FILL THROUGH SUCTION INLET
NOTE
Refer to WP 0004 00 for the location and operation of water distributor controls.
Each suction hose is 8 ft (2.4 m) long. There are four suction hoses available.
Use a fresh water source to mix with soil stabilizers and dust palliatives, in accordance with manufac-
turer's instructions. It will be necessary to top load from a clean fresh water source rather than suction
load. Always refer to manufacturer's instructions for further instructions.
1.
Park machine close to water source, on level ground if possible. Lower tank to the ground.
2.
Place transmission in N (Neutral) and lock. Apply parking brake. Block wheels if on a grade.
3.
Ensure all tank and piping valves are off and pump is off.
4.
Place pump control switch to OFF (suction) position.
5.
Unlock camlocks, turn, and remove suction hose foot valve from stowage on suction loading inlet.
6.
Connect pressurized water source line to suction loading inlet and lock camlocks.
7.
Open suction loading inlet manual valve by turning handle 90 degrees clockwise.
8.
Turn TANK FILL SPARGER control to ON.
9.
Begin to fill tank.
NOTE
Perform step 10 to increase speed of filling.
10.
With engine RPM at idle, turn on water pump.
11.
When tank level gage indicates FULL, turn off water pump.
12.
Turn TANK FILL SPARGER control to OFF.
