Installation of De-icing Extensions.
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during proce-
dure. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury to personnel.
NOTE
De-icing extensions are available as an AAL item (WP 0024 00).
a.
Remove camlock plug from each end of lower spray bar.
b.
Position extension at lower spray bar, with nozzles on extension aligned with nozzles on lower spray bar.
c.
Lock extension to lower spray bar with camlocks.

PLUG AND
INSTALL DE-ICING
EXTENSION
NOZZLE

d.
Repeat steps b and c to install extension at other end of lower spray bar.
